One of the City of Swan's top priorities is to be a connected and cohesive community in which the diversity of our people and places is valued and celebrated. Ensuring that the community and stakeholders are consulted in the City's decision-making processes is one of our key strategies to achieving this goal.
The City of Swan strongly believes that community engagement promotes a strong community, with active citizenship and social responsibility. For this reason, we've implemented a Community Engagement Policy, which is a planned process allowing for the informing, consulting, collaborating with and empowering of communities regarding decisions that will affect their lives.
