In addition to the Support Groups, Community Care Services also organises a Carers forum twice a year.
The aim of these forums is to help carers better manage their role and provide the opportunity to talk about concerns or problems they might have. For example, managing challenging behaviour, carer respite options and referrals to agencies for specific assistance.
The forums are attended by Community Care Services staff and guest speakers from relevant organisations and cover general and specific issues facing carers. We welcome your attendance and transport can be arranged. For more information about 2016 forums please contact us on 9267 9055.
