Australian Heritage Council
The Australian Heritage Council is the principal adviser to the Australian Government on heritage matters. The Council assesses nominations for the National Heritage List and the Commonwealth Heritage List and also maintains the Register of the National Estate.

Heritage Council of Western Australia
The Heritage Council was set up under the Heritage of Western Australia Act 1990 as the State's advisory body on heritage matters. The agency provides for and encourages the conservation of places with cultural heritage significance to Western Australia.
Landgate is the Agency responsible for Western Australia’s land and property information. As an Authority, Landgate maintains the State’s official register of land ownership and survey information and is responsible for valuing the State's land and property for government interest.
Metropolitan Redevelopment Authority
The Metropolitan Redevelopment Authority (MRA) was established as a result of the Metropolitan Redevelopment Authority Act 2011 to undertake redevelopment projects in suitable areas within the Perth metropolitan area. It combines the responsibilities and projects formerly undertaken by the East Perth, Subiaco, Midland and Armadale redevelopment authorities and the Elizabeth Quay project.

State Records Office of Western Australia
The State Records Office (SRO) is the authority with responsibility for managing, preserving and providing access to the State's archives. The SRO delivers best practice records management services to State and Local Government agencies and provides the community with access to the State's archives.

The Western Australian Genealogical Society Inc. (WAGS) is the largest society of its type in Western Australia. WAGS has been incorporated to assist members in researching the family history in Western Australia, as well as all corners of the world.
