Lifestyle and Wellbeing

If you’re not crazy about the gym or group fitness seems a bit too physical, try one of our Lifestyle and Wellbeing Classes. As the name suggests, these classes are designed to enhance your lifestyle and wellbeing.

We offer classes in yoga and pilates, which have proven extremely popular with people of all ages. However, if you’re of a more mature age, you might prefer to attend our Active Seniors classes. 

Tai Chi

Tai Chi is safe and easy for beginners to learn. Tai Chi provides maximum relief for the main problems experienced by arthritis sufferers, namely pain and stiffness. Added health benefits include: Increased flexibility and muscle strength, improved agility, better posture, mental alertness. All of these benefits give the participant a sense of tranquility and well being.

Yoga

Flexibility, stamina relaxation and strength are essential qualities for a healthy, positive life. Yoga is a deeply effective exercise system, as it encourages these qualities in a completely gentle and non strenuous way. Problems such as tiredness, back pain, nausea, anxiety, headaches and common complaints of pregnancy may be eased by practicing yoga and often may disappear altogether. As you develop the ability to focus on your breathing through yoga, the mind becomes quieter, reducing anxiety and allowing you to feel more present in body, thus calmer emotionally and more peaceful within.

Yoga Advanced

Advanced Yoga is for the high level experienced yoga enthusiast. The one and a half hour fun and sociable hatha yoga class with a qualified instructor will teach you advanced stretching, relaxation, breathing, meditation and toning techniques.

Yoga Beginners

Beginners Yoga is a one and a half hour fun and sociable hatha yoga class with a qualified instructor that teaches you the basic and manageable stretching, relaxation, breathing, meditation and toning techniques and learning the foundations of good health.

ZUMBA

Zumba is a fusion of Latin and International music - dance themes creating a dynamic, exciting, effective fitness system. It is a mixture of body sculpting movements with easy to follow dance steps. It's FUN! It's DIFFERENT! It's EASY and EFFECTIVE! Good for mind, body and soul.
