Crime Down In Malaga Crime rates are falling in Malaga where a major reduction in crime statistics has been experienced compared to other industrial centres.
Malaga Crime Management Forum (MCMF) chairman and City of Swan councillor Mel Congerton said Malaga had a number of CCTV cameras in place that captured video footage 24 hours a day seven days a week, across strategic sites throughout Malaga.
“Footage from the CCTV cameras has been used in incidents of crime throughout the area and this has assisted police in their investigations.
“This MCMF initiative is a continuing project and we are working consistently to help Malaga businesses feel secure.’’
Cr Congerton said the MCMF were delivering a number of anti-crime projects for the industrial and commercial communities of Malaga, as well as anti-crime promotional products for businesses to use.
He encouraged people who witnessed any crime to please report it to malagacrime@swan.wa.gov.au or local police on 9376 7000.
