The City of Swan is committed to ensuring our diverse and growing community continues to thrive. To achieve our vision, we must work closely with our community, from our residents and ratepayers to our businesses and visitors.
We are guided by our key strategic document, the Strategic Community Plan 2025-2035 (SCP), which was developed through community engagement and reflects the aspirations, priorities and vision of our community for the future of Swan. The SCP outlines five key result areas (KRAs), each with its own objectives, measures and targets.
We keep our community informed about our progress and performance against the SCP measures and targets through our Annual Report, Corporate Business Plan Mid-Year Performance Report and quarterly KRA Performance Reports.
Performance against each KRA is reported annually, with individual KRA performance updates published quarterly throughout the year. These updates are published on the KRA pages below.

Natural Environment KRA
Our natural environment, including bushland, open spaces, the Swan Valley and the Swan River, is extremely important to the City of Swan.
Social KRA
Making sure everyone is safe, healthy and connected is one of our main focuses.
Built Environment KRA
We are focused on making sure current and future communities have the infrastructure they need to enjoy living, working and thriving in Swan.
Governance KRA
The City is committed to demonstrating progressive and responsible leadership by maintaining sustainable and optimal use of City resources.

Survey results
The City uses the results of the annual Community and Business Perceptions Survey to track and shape our progress against our key result areas.
