Please note that this is a program for adults and young people aged 16+.
Vidhu Sharma is active in her local community and beyond - so much so that in 2021 she received a Community Services Excellence Award at the International Convention Centre in Sydney for strengthening India and Australia relations! But at the heart of Vidhu's community work are the topics she's passionate about - both mental health and traditional Indian medicine, or Ayurveda.
In this presentation Vidhu will talk about how she's used her passions to connect with the people around her, and how you can use your interests as inspiration to get involved in your own community! Hear about Vidhu's work with Ayurveda, the many benefits of getting active in your communities, and how doing so has changed Vidhu's life for the better!
At Midland Public Library's Makerspace Day you'll find a range of activities, presentations, stalls, performances and more! RSVP and take a look at the full list of activities on the Facebook event.
