Learn how to use a worm farm to transform household food scraps into useful products for your garden.
This workshop presented by Kevin Smith from The Worm Shed, features a presentation on all aspects of worm farming and the role worms play in recycling and waste management. This is followed by a demonstration of setting up and maintaining a worm farm.
Worm Café worm farms will be available to purchase. Residents and ratepayers of the City are entitled to a $100 subsidy on a worm farm, complete with worms and worm castings or a $40 subsidy on 1kg of worms. Learn more about the Worm Farm Subsidy and how to claim it.
This workshop is suitable for adults and children aged 14 and over.
Places are limited, so bookings are essential.
