Safety on NorthLink WA construction site
NorthLink WA is a $1.02 billion jointly funded Federal and State Government initiative being delivered by Main Roads Western Australia.
In the road reserve behind Ellenbrook and the Hepburn Avenue area at Ballajura and Whiteman Park, there have been significant changes since construction began earlier this year. Clearing is almost complete, and fencing and signage are in place wherever possible along the site boundary.
Construction for the NorthLink WA central section has brought heavy machinery, bulk earthmoving equipment and trucks operating along the entire length of the corridor. Members of the community are now risking their safety by entering the site. When people visit the site to walk their dog or take a short-cut, not only are they endangering their own lives, they're putting the safety of our construction workers at risk.
Please follow all signs around the construction sites. If you are unsure about accessibility to the area, contact our community team on 1800 874 998 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
