Transitional restrictions in effect for businesses in Perth & Peel

From 12:01am on Tuesday July 6 to 12:01am on Monday July 12, the transitional restrictions out of lockdown will take effect, for the Perth and Peel regions.

The following measure are in place for businesses:

  • Masks are mandatory indoors, including the workplace.
  • Masks are mandatory on public transport and for outdoor areas where physical distancing is not possible. 
  • Masks are not required when undertaking vigorous exercise indoors or outdoors.

  • The two square metre capacity rule and 150 patron limit will apply to most venues, including weddings and funerals. Standing service will be permitted for hospitality venues and indoor fitness classes can also resume.
  • Major stadiums, including Optus Stadium, RAC Arena and HBF Park will be able to operate at 50 per cent capacity.
