We're excited to see businesses reopening and more people out and about in our community.

To ensure there's enough parking available in Midland CBD, City of Swan Council have decided to reinstate paid parking and proactive enforcement in the area from Monday, August 3.

We’ll be taking an education and caution approach prior to the issue of any infringement notices for non-payment of parking fees. Customers can still access the one-hour free parking in our on-street car parking bays.

Free 24/7 parking has been in place since April, when parking fees were paused to provide economic relief to our community early in the COVID-19 pandemic.

With the Government’s introduction of Phase 4 and the easing of restrictions, commercial and community activity around Midland CBD is increasing, which is excellent news for our economy.

Bringing back the original paid parking regulations will result in a higher turnover of parking bays which in turn will help our business community.
