The State Government is introducing a specific, targeted grants program to provide some relief to those small businesses that have been impacted the most by the recent lockdown, such as those in the hospitality sector.

Grants of $2,000 will be available for businesses which meet the eligibility criteria, which will be released in the near future. It will be made available at www.smallbusiness.wa.gov.au/coronavirus

The grants are intended to offset some of the direct costs of the lockdown and business closure, such as loss of perishable goods.

Businesses will be invited to apply via an online application process. If you’d like to be notified when the eligibility criteria is published, sign up for the City of Swan business newsletter, BizNews, at www.swan.wa.gov.au/subscribe
