RSPCA WA recently held a Community Action Day in Swan View to educate the community about animal care.

The free community event, held on April 22 at Swan View Oval, offered pet assistance and advice to community members ahead of winter.

The day was a great success, with 57 animals checked by a vet, 16 dogs microchipped and 87 dogs and 20 cats received flea and worm treatments.

RSPCA WA are dedicated to educating and influencing the community to improve the treatment and life of animals.

RSPCA WA deliver community actions days across Perth Metropolitan parks and reserves, as well as regional locations such as Kalgoorlie, Bunbury, Geraldton and Broome.
