Toodyay Road clean up 2017

The City of Swan, partnered by Keep Australia Beautiful WA, the Eastern Metropolitan Regional Council and Main Roads WA, would like to say thank you to all the willing volunteers who helped to assist with the recent litter clean up on Toodyay Road.

In just three hours, 40 hard working volunteers from a variety of suburbs (both in and out of the City of Swan boundary) managed to collect over 1.5 tonnes of rubbish, showing great community spirit and togetherness in order to keep Toodyay Road free from litter.

The City of Swan and its partners continue to make waste and recycling a key focus and priority. The litter clean up days help to further develop and strengthen the relationships between our Government organisations, local businesses and residents.

Help put a stop to litter and keep the City of Swan beautiful.
