Draft Youth Strategy

The City of Swan’s draft Youth Strategy is now available for public comment.
The Strategy, developed in partnership with young people, key agencies and service providers, aims to guide the future planning for the provision of fundamental services and infrastructure for the City’s youth demographic.
The Strategy’s content has also been built upon emerging trends and best practice in community youth development to increase resilience, develop protective factors and engage young people with adults in the community to foster positive community development.
The draft Youth Strategy can be read in conjunction with the Preliminary Findings Report (November 2016). You can view copies of the document at:
- the City of Swan Administration Centre in Midland; and
- the City's libraries.
There are a number of ways in which you can provide feedback on the draft Youth Strategy, including:
Written and email comments should contain the reference ‘Youth Strategy Submissions’ and must include your name and address.
Comments on the draft Youth Strategy must be lodged by 4pm on Monday, January 15, 2018.
