Rescue centres for native animals

Native animal rescue centres

There are several wildlife rehabilitation centres in the Perth metropolitan area that care for sick, injured, orphaned and displaced wildlife. In the City of Swan, a not for profit facility called Native Animal Rescue operates at 170 Camboon Road, Malaga. Each year, this rescue centre cares for almost 3,000 animals including birds, echidnas, kangaroos, possums, bandicoots and reptiles. Where possible, the centre rehabilitates these animals and releases them back into their natural habitat.

If you find any wildlife in need of care, you can contact the Native Animal Rescue on (08) 9249 3434 seven days a week between 9am and 5pm.
