Hazardous waste is any waste that poses a serious risk to the public or the environment, due to its reactivity, flammability, corrosiveness or toxicity. All hazardous waste must be disposed of at an appropriate facility.
Find out why it is so important to dispose of them correctly due to them being considered hazardous to health and the environment. E-waste includes any electronic items.
If you have hazardous waste that needs disposing of, you can take it to the Red Hill Waste Management Facility. Find the list of hazardous items accepted at Red Hill Waste Management facility.

Disposing of e-waste
E-waste, including computers, televisions, peripherals and accessories can be taken to Bullsbrook Recycling Centre or Red Hill Waste Management Facility. View a full list of what is accepted.
E-waste is also accepted at the City's regular Recyclable Goods Drop Off Days.
