Advice, support and training
Aboriginal Economic Development is a program within the Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development that builds local capacity and supports new businesses and jobs for Aboriginal people through primary industries and strategic regional projects.
Business.gov.au connects Australian businesses to government information, grants, services and support to help your business succeed.
- Business Foundations provide expert services across WA, helping businesses of all sizes, start, grow, thrive and succeed. Business Foundations offer incubator support, training courses, commercialisation services and the deliver the New Enterprise Incentive Scheme (NEIS).
- Business One Stop Shop (BOSS) is a federally funded entrepreneur facilitator service for the Perth north-east area and offers free and low-cost business advice, training and co-working space, private rentals and meeting room hire.
- Business Station is a non-profit provider of enterprise development services to small businesses across Western Australia with low-cost advice, training, digital advisory services and workshops to help build and develop sustainable businesses.
Fair Work Ombudsman is an Australian government agency that provides free advice and information about workplace rights and obligations.
Food Safety Training is provided by the City of Swan, online for free at the www.imalert.com.au/foodsafety website. I'm Alert, is an interactive food safety training tool which conforms with the Western Australian Food Act (2008) and the Australian Food Safety Standards.
Small Business Development Corporation (SBDC) provides new and existing small businesses in Western Australia with a range of free information, advice, workshops and guidance to help start, run and grow a successful business.
- Tourism Council WA is the peak body representing tourism businesses, industries and regions in Western Australia.

Chamber of Commerce and Industry WA is a Australia’s largest and most representative business organisation who represent more than 300,000 businesses of all sizes, across all industries, across all parts of the country.
Tourism Western Australia works with a range of partners across government and the tourism industry to help promote and grow tourism in WA.
WA Industry Link is a WA state government initiative providing WA businesses with support to help businesses compete for state government contracts.
