Garage Door Installation - Lot 9 (No.54) East Street, GUILDFORD
Public consultation is required as the applicant seeks a variation to Clause 5.4.2 - ‘Acceptable development provisions (Materials and Colours), of POL-C-106 – Guilford Conservation Precinct as the placement of solid/roller doors on garages facing the street is generally discouraged.
The details of the application are as follows:
- Enclose an existing street facing 3.76m high by 2.83m wide carport with a roller garage door and additional weatherboard cladding.
- The proposed garage door will be 2.4m high, 2.83m wide and constructed in ‘Manor Red’.
- The proposed weatherboard cladding will cover the remaining 1.36m of carport and be constructed in ‘Classic Cream’.
- All other aspects of the carport are to remain the same.
