Proposed variation to the LDP provisions and deemed to comply R-Codes - Outbuilding within the earthbund & landscaped buffer area - Lot 1990 (No.12) Martinich Drive, CAVERSHAM (DA-856/2021)

The City has received the abovementioned proposal for consideration. Prior to Council giving consideration to the proposal, comments from surrounding owners are sought.

Proposed variation to LDP and Caversham Transition Lot Management Plan in that no development is to be permitted within the 40m wide vegetation buffer as delineated on the Transition Area Plan whereby an 8.5m setback from the rear is proposed in lieu of 40m.

Additionally, the following is not in accordance with the deemed-to-Comply provision of the R-Codes:

  • Maximum 60sqm deem is applicable whereby 121.5sqm is proposed
  • 2.4 maximum wall height, 4m proposed (+1.6m over)
  • 4.2m maximum ridge height, 5.206m proposed (+1.006m over)
