Public consultation is required as the applicant is seeking a variation to the setback provision identified in LPD -9-2017 for lots abutting public open space. Specifically, buildings are required to be setback a minimum of 2m from the boundary abutting public open space.
The details of the proposed variation are as follows:
- A 60mm portion of a feature wall attached to the proposed single house will be setback 1.94m from the lot boundary abutting the public open space in lieu of the required 2m.
