Recycling Centre – Malaga closure

Due to the Tarmac West Rally event, the Recycling Centre – Malaga will be closed on Sunday, September 25, 2024.

Cogla Street will be closed to the public.

You can still take materials to the Recycling Centre – Bullsbrook, open from 8.30am-4.30pm.

Unrestricted Burning Period

The unrestricted burning period runs from Saturday, June 1 to Monday, September 30, 2024.

During the unrestricted burning period, you can burn without a permit subject to the following conditions:
- Your property is over 2000sqm
- You are only burning vegetative or untreated wood.
All burning (including exemptions) is prohibited when a total fire ban is declared.

Event description

Lorita will guide you through selecting images for collage, using cutouts, stamping and 3D items plus decorating with coloured pencils and oil pastels.

Each participant will have a “bag of inspiration” supplied. Please bring along a journal of your own or use one of our books to repurpose.

Please book in as spaces are limited.

Please note that this program is suitable for ages 18+, and is a hands-on workshop. Photographs and videos may be taken of the event. Please book one ticket for each person attending.
