Join Molly and Shannon from Fibre Economy as they guide you through the process of curating a versatile capsule wardrobe that reflects your personal style while minimizing waste.Whether you're a fashion enthusiast or just looking to declutter and refresh your closet, this session will provide valuable tips on building a sustainable wardrobe, smart swapping and shopping, and making the most of what you already own.
Plus, get hands-on experience with a fun clothes swap event, where you can discover new-to-you pieces and give your pre-loved garments a second life. Let’s build a clothing conscious future, one outfit at a time!
The conscious consumerism workshop will take place from 10 – 11.30am and bookings are required.
Care to Rewear Clothes Swap
Do you have clothing that you don’t love anymore? Join us for a Care to Rewear clothes swap in collaboration with the Eastern Metropolitan Regional Council (EMRC)!Check your wardrobe for items you don’t wear anymore and bring them along to swap them for items you will wear. You can bring as much as you like as long as it is in clean and good wearable condition and take as many or as few as you like.
All clothes should be washed prior to donation. All donated clothing will undergo a quality check, including cleanliness before being placed on the rack.
What to bring
- All size clothing items - BOTH male & female accepted
- No children's clothes
- Accessories - hats, scarves, jewellery, bags
- Shoes.
Here’s what to expect
- 9:45 – 10:00am: Check in and donate your gently-used clothing. Then, grab a seat in the presentation room. Please be punctual—doors will close promptly at 10:00am.
- 10:00 – 11:30am: Enjoy an inspiring presentation by Fibre Economy.
- 11:30am– 1:00pm: Dive into the Clothing Swap and discover new gems to add to your collection.
Note: To keep things focused, please bring only adult clothing and no bric-a-brac.
