Event description
These school holidays, join us to learn one of the oldest spoken languages in the world from Brenda Larsen, a language educator and member of the local Noongar community. Then learn how to make your own quiz game using the Scratch Programming Language!Go on a treasure hunt to find clues to Noongar words hidden around Midland Library and the Old Midland Courthouse, and with each word you find, add it into your game, building your own personal collection of Noongar words!
Participants must bring a USB drive.
Please book in as spaces are limited.
This program is suitable for ages 7 - 12 and is a hands-on workshop. Photographs and videos may be taken of the event. Please book one ticket for each person attending.
