Protective behaviours parenting program

Event description

This is a free parenting workshop facilitated by the Midvale Hub Parenting Service Perth North East, for parents and caregivers who have children aged 0– 12 years.

This is an abuse prevention program that teaches and promotes the concepts of:

  • Emotional intelligence
  • Empowerment
  • Assertiveness
  • Problem solving
  • An understanding of safety

This program aims to provide adults with the information and tools to empower children and young people with strategies to promote resilience and safety.

Please note this is a workshop series which runs for 3 sessions. Attendance at each session is required:

  • Session 1: Monday, March 11, 10 - 11:30 am
  • Session 2: Monday, March 18, 10 - 11:30 am
  • Session 3: Monday, March 25, 10 - 11:30 am

Please note that this program is suitable for parents and carers (18+) of children aged 0-12 years, and is a parenting workshop. Photographs and videos may be taken of the event. Please book one ticket for each person attending.
