Rainbow Reads is a collaboration between Our Place and City of Swan Libaries.A queer book club for LGBTQIA+SB young people aged 13 to 18, meeting on the 3rd Thursday of every month at the Midland Library from 4.30pm-5.30pm
This July we will be hosting an online conversation with writer Jessica Walton (they/them.) A queer disabled writer, teacher and speaker, Jessica will be discussing Stars In Our Eyes- the graphic novel they co-created with Aśka.
Book club members do not need to bring anything along to the group, a library staff member will facilitate discussion and some light snacks will be provided. Make sure you have a City of Swan Library membership if you'd like to access Stars In Our Eyes prior to the event.
Please book in as spaces are limited.
This program is suitable for LGBTQIA+SB young people aged 13 - 18 and is a book club. Photographs and videos may be taken of the event. Please book one ticket for each person attending.
