Red Cross : Understanding forced migration and displacement

Event description

This is an opportunity to learn about the ongoing global refugee crisis and Australia’s role in providing safety and settlement for those in need.

Each year, Australia welcomes 20,000 individuals seeking protection, with nearly 1,000 settling in Perth alone. Through this session, you’ll gain a deeper understanding of the challenges and resilience of refugees and asylum seekers, from their experiences in their home countries to their journeys and new lives in Australia.

Please book in as spaces are limited.
This program is suitable for ages 16+ and is workshop without hands-on activities. Photographs and videos may be taken of the event. Please book one ticket for each person attending.
