A confidential service that aims to help Aboriginal people face alcohol and other drug misuse in a holistic and culturally appropriate manner. We see all clients, suicidal or not. All counsellors are Aboriginal and have a good working relationship with community and individuals.

Cyrenian House is a not for profit non-government organisation that has been operating within the alcohol and drug (AOD) sector since 1981. A wide range of approaches including the Therapeutic Community Model, 12 Step recovery models, Acceptance Commitment Therapy, Systems Theory, Psychodynamic Theory, Cognitive Behaviour and Social Learning Theory. A wide range of programs, both residential and non-residential, provide treatment options to suit individual needs.

DAWN is a metro-wide service of St John of God Hospital Subiaco for those over the age of 12. DAWN is happy to discuss any referrals with you regarding possible engagement with the service. Anyone can refer by phone on the above number.
- Comprehensive assessment, planning, treatment and support for home-based withdrawal
- Liaison with GPs
- Education and support for individuals, families and GPs
- Referral to appropriate services for ongoing support.
Drug & Alcohol Youth Service (DAYS)

Outpatient and 1-2 week withdrawal and respite programs. A 12 week residential rehabilitation program. Services are provided for young people aged 12-19 years, with some flexibility up to the age of 21.
Treatment services offered within these programs include:
- Comprehensive assessment
- Case management – including shared care with other services e.g. DCP,
- Individual counselling
- Medical assessment and review
- Clinical psychology services
- Group programs, mentoring and outreach (including Aboriginal mentor)
- Opiate and alcohol pharmacotherapy
- Parent and family counselling
- Complimentary therapies (including music and Reiki).
