Aspiring entrepreneurs and local business innovators are encouraged to apply for the 2026 Curtin Ignition Program, with sponsored scholarship places available for eligible participants.

Curtin Ignition is an intensive entrepreneurial program designed to help people test, refine and grow business ideas with commercial potential. Sponsored by the City of Swan, and delivered by Curtin University, the week-long program brings together founders, innovators, academics and business professionals for a hands-on experience focused on turning ideas into viable businesses.

Participants will gain access to keynote presentations, workshops, mentoring sessions, expert panels, business clinics and networking opportunities with experienced entrepreneurs and industry leaders.

The program is suited to people with early-stage business ideas, startup concepts or innovative solutions they are looking to develop further. It is also ideal for existing business owners wanting to explore new products, services or growth opportunities.

The City of Swan is sponsoring one scholarship place, helping make the program more accessible for local participants.

The 2026 Curtin Ignition Program runs from Saturday, August 15 and Monday, August 17 to Friday, August 21, 2026.

Scholarship applications are now open and close on Thursday, June 4, 2026. Successful applicants will be notified by Curtin Executive Education on Tuesday, June 16, 2026.

The full program cost is valued at $3,750, excluding GST. For eligibility criteria and application information, visit curtin.edu/ignition
