Families now have even more options to get their kids involved in fun, active programs, with WA Girl Guides and Scouts joining the State Government’s KidSport program.
As of July 1, 2025, families can use KidSport vouchers to cover the cost of joining Girl Guides or Scouts clubs, making it easier for children to learn new skills, make friends and stay active.
hese programs help young people build confidence, teamwork, and resilience in safe and supportive environments.
Eligible children can now receive up to $300 per financial year to help cover club fees, uniforms, or essential equipment across 69 different activities.
The expanded program means additional choices for families and more chances for kids to get involved in their community, whether through sport, adventure or learning practical life skills.
The City of Swan’s Club Development Officers support local clubs and residents in accessing the program, helping navigate the process and build capacity for long-term success.
