The Swan Musician-in-Residence Program is a new program that has been developed as an extension of the Swan Artist-in-Residence program.
Expressions of interest
The City of Swan is seeking expressions of interest from songwriters, musicians, sonic artists and music producers of all styles to participate in the inaugural Music Residency in 2027.
Musicians of all career levels (whether community, amateur, emerging or professional) are encouraged to apply.
During the two-month residency period, musicians will be required to:
- Facilitate two community programs
- Hold a performance or work in progress
- Produce a piece of work (recorded, performed or composed/written) inspired by their experience of Midland.
Unfortunately, this residency cannot facilitate groups and is strictly for individual musicians.
