Join FORM for an information session about the upcoming Swan Valley Sculpture Trail. Learn about the project's origins and themes, and share your thoughts on opportunities for local Swan Valley artists.

What we’ll cover and co-sesign
This workshop will help co-design the multiple opportunities for local artists and makers in this project:

• Companion sculpture commissions: Recycled-material sculptural commission opportunities for companion sculptures to sit alongside each of the project's installations
• Community input: Tell us what else could benefit and interest the local arts community, whether that’s skills-sharing workshops and artist talks with Bordalo II and their team, a Swan Valley arts showcase, or promotion of artists and existing local art on an associated arts trail.

About the Swan Valley Sculpture Trail 
The project will feature multiple installations by internationally acclaimed artist Bordalo II (pronounced Bordalo Segundo), creating a public art trail through the Swan Valley using reclaimed materials.

Chosen for its rich Aboriginal heritage, unique natural environment, and reputation as one of Western Australia's premier tourism destinations, the Swan Valley provides the ideal setting for visitors and locals to discover native wildlife and experience the region in a new way.

By inviting visitors to experience the Swan Valley in new ways, the trail could also increase visitation during quieter periods, extend visitor stays, and boost local spending. Most importantly, the project shows how arts and culture can enhance public spaces, foster community connections, and create a more vibrant, engaging destination for residents and visitors alike.
