Swan Clubs Program

Swan Clubs Program

The Swan Clubs Program supports local sporting clubs to become stronger, more sustainable and inclusive.

Through practical programs, workshops and partnerships, the City of Swan helps clubs increase participation, build volunteer skills, strengthen governance, support member wellbeing and create welcoming environments.

Clubs can access support to attract new members, plan for the future, develop volunteers and improve safety and wellbeing.

The Come and Try Program helps local sporting clubs attract new participants through free, community-based events delivered with state sporting associations.

These sessions give children, families and adults a welcoming introduction to sport before they decide whether to join a club.

The City works with participating clubs and state sporting associations to promote local sports, support membership growth and create ongoing participation opportunities.

Benefits for your club:
  • Increase club membership
  • Promote your club in the local community
  • Introduce new participants to your sport
  • Receive support from the City and your state sporting association
  • Create welcoming and inclusive experiences for new members.
