Midland Public Library is set to reopen on January 2, 2024 after the completion of careful repair works.
The library was closed in 2021 due to structural issues with its roof, resulting in a move to the temporary Popup Library at 11 The Avenue, Midland. The Popup Library will be closed from Monday, December 11, allowing for the relocation of books and equipment.
Any items on loan from the Popup Library can be held until the main library reopens, renewed online or returned to other City libraries. There will be no change to the programs that have been running at the Old Midland Courthouse.
