To ensure fairness and budget sustainability, new funding limits are in place.
- Travel in Perth’s Greater Metro area is no longer eligible for funding
- Concession or other evidence of need is now required for adults between 25 and 55
- One application per child or adult each financial year
- Max. of $3,000 per household each financial year.

Eric Carbonell competed in the Oceania Petanque Championships in Wallis and Fortuna, winningbronze and earning a spot in the Men's Triples competition in Malaysia in 2026.
Teagan O'Brien represented WA at the Australian Irish Dancing National Championships, training up to four nights a week to reach this achievement.
Tiahnee Smith competed at the Emerging Matildas Championships 2025, the pinnacle of youth girls' competitions in Australia.
Ada Wright competed at the Australian All Star Cheerleading Federation Nationals and won bronze with her team.
Jack Bertram captained his team at the School Sport Australia Interstate 15s Netball Championship, won bronze and was selected for the National team.
