Unrestricted Burning Period

The unrestricted burning period runs from Monday, June 1 to Wednesday, September 30, 2026.

During the unrestricted burning period, you can burn without a permit subject to the following conditions:
- Your property is over 2000sqm
- You are only burning vegetative or untreated wood.
All burning (including exemptions) is prohibited when a total fire ban is declared.
