Children's Week Community Event

Event description

Join us in Ballajura for the official celebration of Children’s Week, convened in Western Australia by Meerilinga.

We’ll be highlighting the rights of children to use their language, culture and religion (as proclaimed by the United Nations Convention of the Rights of the Child (UNCRC)) with the help of our community friends, including Together Now WA, Yalkarang Consulting, Multicultural Futures and Akwaaba African Drumming.

Each stall holder will be hosting a children’s activity and have information about the services that they provide throughout Perth.

There’ll be lots of free entertainment and activities at this twilight event. Some of our favourites include: Old Macdonald Farm, Dodgy Bros, Craft with ReMida, Lions Train, Sausage Sizzle.
