Unrestricted Burning Period

The unrestricted burning period runs from Monday, June 1 to Wednesday, September 30, 2026.

During the unrestricted burning period, you can burn without a permit subject to the following conditions:
- Your property is over 2000sqm
- You are only burning vegetative or untreated wood.
All burning (including exemptions) is prohibited when a total fire ban is declared.
Parking ticket machine maintenance

The City is undertaking scheduled maintenance on parking ticket machines in the Midland and Ellenbrook CBDs from Monday 3 August to Monday 10 August. During this period, the parking machines will be temporarily wrapped and no payment will be required. Please note that parking time limits will still apply.
