How Horses Heal

Event description

This 60‑minute author talk is presented by Elizabeth Woodall, a Western Australian author whose work blends lived experience, rural life, and the quiet, transformative moments that shape us. Drawing from her first two memoirs - Horses, Heartache & Healing and Losing Monty, Elizabeth shares the personal stories, insights, and emotional landscapes that inspired each book. The session also offers a gentle preview of her upcoming third book, The Season of You, and how the three works connect as part of a broader journey of healing, identity, and resilience.

Patrons can expect an intimate, reflective, and engaging session that includes readings, storytelling, discussion of the writing process, and space for honest conversation. The talk concludes with a relaxed Q&A where attendees are welcome to ask questions or share reflections. All materials for the session are provided; patrons do not need to bring anything. Books will be available for browsing or purchase, and Elizabeth will be available for signing and informal conversation after the event.

Please book in as spaces are limited.
This program is suitable for Adults aged 18+ and is a hands-on workshop. Please book one ticket for each person attending. Photography and videography may be taken at this event. Images and footage may be used by the City of Swan and event organisers for marketing and promotional purposes.
