Event description

SOUND BIKING RADIO presents a series of workshops centred on sonic practices: listening, recording, performing, and radio-making. Musician Eduardo Cossio invites participants on collective bike rides where we discover with our ears. Cycle paths criss-cross unique soundscapes and through attentive listening we can understand more about our environment; its health, any pressing issues, or simply deepen our relationship to it. 

The workshops will guide participants through listening and recording practices, explore site-specific performance, and then put it altogether on a RADIO RIDE, a live transmission from the cycle paths.

All levels of experience welcome. Just bring an open mind, open ears, and your bike!

Please book in as spaces are limited.  
This program is suitable for ages 16+ and is a hands-on workshop. Please book one ticket for each person attending. Photography and videography may be taken at this event. Images and footage may be used by the City of Swan and event organisers for marketing and promotional purposes.
