Young Minds Dance Connection- This Is Me Program

Event description

This Is Me is an early intervention educational dance program for children aged 10 to 12 who have or are at risk of developing mental health challenges.

The program celebrates individuality and encourages self expression through movement, expressive art, and self-reflection activities. The program gently addresses common challenges such as peer pressure and mental health while empowering participants and boosting confidence.

No dance experience is required, just a willingness to have a go. Participants must be a City of Swan resident.

The City of Swan has partnered with Helping Minds to deliver this program and it's being funded by the Department of Social Services.
