Since 2018, the City of Swan Libraries' music programs have provided local artists with skills, support, and creative tools to develop their stories through song.
Our libraries are vibrant hubs, where anyone in our diverse community can access exciting new technology, explore creative pursuits, collaborate with others, and develop lifelong skills.
Whether you’re a beginner looking for lessons, an aspiring singer with a song up your sleeve, or an industry professional looking for high-quality equipment, City of Swan Libraries will help you find your sound.

Little Library Concerts are a musical celebration of the City of Swan’s heritage, filmed in the atmospheric heritage library space at Guildford Library. Over four months in 2024, six talented musicians recorded a stripped-back, acoustic set, featuring a selection of their music, which was shared on social media in 2025.
Season two of Little Library Concerts, featuring a brand-new set of local Perth musicians, was filmed in late 2025 and is currently in production. Subscribe to the Little Library Concerts YouTube channel to be the first to see when future seasons are released.
Cosy Records label
As part of our commitment to reducing barriers to creativity and making music accessible to all, we’ve worked with program participants to professionally record the songs and music they’ve created in our music programs since 2018. These recordings are preserved in our Local History Collection as living examples of the shared creative heritage of the Midland and greater Swan area.
