Reconnect is a free, voluntary confidential program which works to prevent young people aged 12-18 years from becoming homeless by providing support to young people and their families. Reconnect provides an outreach individual support service to assist to improve relationships, to link with networks and other services, and assist with education and employment.

Centrecare Counselling provides social services for young people aged 12-21 experiencing family conflict and communication issues. Individual and family counselling and other services are available. Some services are free.

WA Youth Cancer Service

The WA Youth Cancer Service offers counselling and support for young people aged 15-25 years who have been diagnosed with cancer and treated in adult hospitals across Western Australia. They can come to you, or you can visit them at the You Can Centre at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital.

You can also see your local GP for a Mental Health Care Plan and a referral to an appropriate clinical psychology service or practitioner, which may be fully or partly subsidised through Medicare.

Sexual Assault Resource Centre

Free 24 hour services to males and females aged 13 and older who have experienced any form of unwanted sexual contact or behaviour either recently or in the past. Counselling and support is available face-to-face from 9am-5pm Monday to Friday to those who have experienced sexual assault in the past and to their families. SARC provides a 24 hour emergency sexual assault (rape crisis) service in metropolitan Perth.  Individual and group counselling available.
