Community grants and funding

Working with the community to support meaningful projects

Expression of interest (EOI) process now in place

We are now asking organisations to submit an EOI that introduces your project to the grants team with a brief outline. We can then use EOI's to identify projects that:

  1. maximise community benefit
  2. address real issues
  3. most meaningfully impact Swan residents

If your EOI fits the above priorities and indicates that you're capable of delivering on your ideas, we will then invite you to complete a full application.

Browse our available grants below, and click on the one that fits your project best to find more details, and to lodge an EOI.

Program update: Cash Donations, applications for $2,000 or under, and Swan Lends a Hand streams currently closed

We are not currently accepting applications for Cash Donations, small grants for $2,000 or under, or Swan Lends a Hand grants.

A new stream dedicated to small grants will open in the new financial year. Cash Donations and Swan Lends a Hand will also open again in the new financial year.

Our Program

Swan Grants support inclusive, community-led initiatives that address community needs. We welcome applications from anyone based in or delivering projects in the City of Swan.

Every project, program, or event funded by Swan grants achieve one or more of these goals:

  • S1.1 - Work with community and partners to create a safer City
  • S2.1 - Facilitate, partner and deliver a range of services and recreational opportunities that support health and wellbeing
  • S3.1 - Foster opportunities for community connection
  • S3.2 - Deliver and support inclusive events, services and facilities to meet current and future needs
  • E1.2 - Assist and encourage thriving activity centres
  • N1.1 - Enhance, preserve and protect local biodiversity and natural ecosystems.

These goals are set by the community, for the community. Want to have your say and shape the City’s goals? Join Swan Engage to share your perspective.
