Unrestricted Burning Period

The unrestricted burning period runs from Sunday, June 1 to Tuesday, September 30, 2025.

During the unrestricted burning period, you can burn without a permit subject to the following conditions:
- Your property is over 2000sqm
- You are only burning vegetative or untreated wood.
All burning (including exemptions) is prohibited when a total fire ban is declared.

Midlas is a not-for-profit community legal centre based in Midland that provides financial counselling, tenancy advocacy, disability advocacy and legal services to people throughout the North East Metro region of Perth.
