The City of Swan advises that it will shortly commence works to rehabilitate the existing road at West Swan rd and Benara road roundabout in Caversham.

The scope of this project includes foam bitumen stabilization rehabilitation and resurfacing of West Swan rd / Benara rd roundabout. Works will commence on Wednesday, November 5, 2025, between the hours of 9:00 PM and 5:00AM and will be substantially completed within one week of commencement. The works may be extended in the event of inclement weather, contractor’s availabilities and/ or unforeseen conditions.

To accommodate the works and to ensure the safety of the construction staff and the general public, a full road closure will be implemented during the works. However, the road will be open to the public at the end of each shift.

Morrison Road / Amherst Road, Level Rail Crossing, Midland is to be temporarily closed for a period of one month from January 22, 2026, with completion expected by February 22, 2026.

The permanent closure of a 3,859m2 portion of Raphael Road, Bullsbrook is requested by MNG on behalf of Rafton Holdings, who would like to close a portion of Raphael Road, Bullsbrook running north from Robinson Road. This portion of road reserve is unconstructed. The road is to be closed for amalgamation into the adjoining Lot 151.

An extension of a temporary road closure has been requested and approved under delegated authority.

The previous closure dates were from July 28, 2025, to November 11, 2025; a duration of three months and 14 days.

The new closure dates are from September 30, 2025, to January 28, 2026; a duration of three months and 29 days.

A delay in the final design and program agreement between Water Corporation and the developer is the reason for the closure extension.

James Avenue, Hazelmere is to be temporarily closed on September 15, 2025, with completion expected by June 4, 2026.

Portions of both Helena Street and Railway Parade in Midland are to be temporarily closed from September 1, 2025, with completion expected by November 24, 2025.

On July 7, 2025, this matter was considered and under delegated authority for a period of 12 weeks.

Notice is hereby given in accordance with section 3.50 of the Local Government Act 1995, of receipt of an application seeking to temporarily close the intersection of Henley Street and Asturian Drive, Henley Brook.

The temporary barrier road closure to the intersection of Henley Street and Asturian Drive, Henley Brook, is requested for the construction of a new roundabout and the Henley Brook Stages 8 & 9 civil works. This closure is for a duration of 3 months from 01/12/2025 to 01/03/2026. This is a 24/7 closure from Monday through Sunday for the duration. View the locality map.

A plan showing the location of the road proposed to be closed and relevant detour routes can be inspected online at swanengage.swan.wa.gov.au; at the City’s Administration Centre, Morrison Road, Midland; or at any of the City’s libraries, during office hours.

Prior to Council considering this matter, submissions from the public are sought.
