Explore the Swan Valley - Breadbasket for Thousands of Years

Event description

Join Dr Shane Burke and members of the Swan Guildford Historical Society for this guided bus tour of the Swan Valley, a place occupied and appreciated for thousands of years.

Departing from the Guildford Colonial Goal Museum, the sites visited attest to the place's long human past, with a visit to Yagan’s memorial park highlighting both the long and rich Aboriginal culture and the inextricable change that occurred with the arrival of the British.
