In this dynamic 3-hour workshop you will explore printing with a gel plate, using a range of transparent acrylic paint colours, hand cut masks/stencils and some plant material. Transparent colours will allow you to easily build up complex designs and colours. You will be taught simple registration techniques to assist with accurate placing of successive colour layers when making a multi-colour print. You will take home 6 or more unique vibrant layered prints and a new passion for gel plate printing.All materials provided. Participants to bring an apron, protective clothing and a notepad and pencil/pen for taking notes.
