In this unique workshop you will learn how to draw and paint real living Forest Red-tailed Black Cockatoos

Carnaby Crusaders have kindly agreed to bring two of their cockatoos to Ellenbrook Art Gallery, all the way from their home in Bindoon. You will have a rare opportunity to observe them closely, and to draw them while they interact with the group of participants.

You will then use these drawings to create a painting.

Experienced artist and workshop facilitator, Fiona Rafferty, will guide you throughout the day.

Cost: $120-$140

Part of the proceeds from this workshop support Carnaby Crusaders in the building of artificial nests that assist inn rehabilitating and increasing the populations of endangered cockatoos.
