Event description
Join local musician Kiera Owen for a relaxed, hands-on session that will help you find your voice, bring songs to life, and perform with greater confidence. For over 10 years, Kiera fronted and toured with one of WA’s most unique rock and post-punk acts, NEW TALK, earning praise for her powerful live performances and sharing stages with Amyl & The Sniffers, WAAX, Jen Cloher, Ecca Vandal, and Sleaford Mods.
Kiera has also performed at Falls Festival, Baybeats (Singapore), and Concrete & Grass (China), and is the bassist and backing singer of hip-hop/grunge outfit Grunge Barbie.

You’ll explore breathing, posture, and simple warm-ups to help strengthen your voice, improve control, and let go of tension.
Just bring yourself and a water bottle.
